Evan Bloodoff Signs With Portland Pirates of the AHL

October 6, 2011

evan-bloodoff-coyotesTurning Point Sports Management client Evan Bloodoff signed a two year American Hockey League contract with the Portland (Maine) Pirates. The Pirates are the AHL affiliate of the Phoenix Coyotes who drafted Bloodoff in the 2009 NHL Entry Draft in the 6th round.

Bloodoff earned the contract after having an excellent camp with the NHL Coyotes, which included scoring a goal in a NHL exhibition game. Bloodoff had just completed his overage season with the Kelowna Rockets of the WHL, where he was an assistant captain. Bloodoff worked very hard in the off season and made a significant impression with Coyotes management. The contract affords him the opportunity to continue to develop in the professional ranks, and work towards a National Hockey League contract.

Turning Point congratulates Evan on his efforts to date, and will continue to monitor his progress as he moves through professional hockey.
